Hello, eager players.
What, in your opinion, actually needs changing/fixing before we go live?

I would say not much. The game is playable now.

However there are things that I would like to see.

1) More scoreboards
2) Item decay fully implemented (I think that picks are the only thing that breaks)
3) Conformation or implementation of all the built items effects (including those that will be added in(4)
4) Increased tech tree.
5) A better scoring system, where savs get points for doing things.
6) Fully implemented graveyard
7) Fights and enticing should take more time (IMHO)

This is asuming that the inventor bug is fixed.

Oh 8) It should take (much) longer to invent things.

and with 7) the effect of weapons / armour should be clearer (Currently I can't see one :-P )

But I think that mostly it is good to go.

Oh and always, more balancing of levelling points and miracle cost.

If the order "find food and eat" is inserted and you feed them through Seymour for the "find food and eat" order to be erased.
Especially annoying for teachers/pupils as the teaching will never resume and the order has to be cleared manually.

When on the main Sav page, if I click on Orders (usually done when I mean to click History), instead of the drop down menu of my Savs I used to get, I get the warning that the Sav is too young for orders.

For everyone making suggestions here, I honestly am paying attention to the bugs/suggestions forum, and I will get to you all eventually.
This is for stuff that needs doing before the game goes live.

I was looking forward to editing the hell out of Jarak's post, but he was right on each count, damn him

I think the day refresh counter needs fixing.
So it says wait 90 seconds first off, rather than wait 30, then wait 5 (when refreshed after 30 seconds), then wait 5, then wait 5, then wait 25.

Re. sav levelling - soldiers should level slower, hunters faster.

I did not say it was game breaking, I said that the feature should be fully implemented before go live. I did not think that this was just for bugs / game breakers but for things that should be done for go live.

If we were going by the rumoured specification doc then I would add 9) a PM system ;-)

It isn't a rumour. It's still publically available.

Incidentally I'd probably also put that note on the family miracle costing. I can't imagine it'd be more than 30 seconds work.

I still must maintain that when camps are placed too closely savs are scared from their home camp, and guards will inadvertantly kill the other persons savs just for being at home. there needs to be some sort of seperation of "home"if a sav is "home" the other guards should not scare them and kill them. but if they venture out they are fair game. This is going to be a bigger problem as saville gets more crowded.

It is. It took a while to find out due to people continually enticing my inventors. (Seriously, why, it's not like you need more mouths to feed)

So you can specialise your soldier to be either a marksman or a warrior, or a bit of both.
